In 2023, visit the farm for cut-your-own trees the weekends of November 18-19 and November 24-26.

After finding the tree your heart desires, take a look at their gift shop, where you can choose a gift and ship it directly to your loved ones. The farm also offers plenty of beautiful centerpieces for $33. 

Garlands can also be found there, ranging between $33 and $50. The farm is also known for its handmade wreaths with fresh-cut evergreens to ensure the high quality of the product. The prices of the wreaths start at $33. 

2. C & J Christmas Trees

Visit the magical C & J Christmas Tree Farm, which was the first Choose and Cut farm in Watauga County created in 1980 by Jeff Brown. The family farm grows the famous Fraser Firs from tabletop sizes to 9 feet tall.

The prices of the trees depend on their size but start at $10 a foot from base to tip. After picking the ideal tree, the farm offers to cut and bale it, after which they tie it onto your vehicle.

Don’t miss snacking on cotton candy, hotdogs, apple cider, hot chocolate, and more while picking out your Christmas decorations!

They also make their own wreaths available in different sizes. The prices of the wreaths vary, starting from $30. Plus, you’ll also find candy canes, crosses, and handmade bows to choose from.

On-site, you’ll find fresh Frasers in a variety of sizes from 4 feet to 10 feet tall. The farm is a wholesale business; however, they open it in November and December for Choose and Cut retail.

9. Bear Valley Farm

10. Mistletoe Meadows Christmas Trees

As soon as you start your search, you’ll be provided with a tree tag and a measuring pole. When you find the perfect tree, farm staff will measure, cut, and bale it, after which they wrap it with netting and load it on your vehicle.

Prices of the tree range from $50 to $450 and up, depending on their size. The farm also offers pre-cut trees from some of the more hard-to-reach sections of the farm. The prices of pre-cut trees start at $20.

You can choose your perfect tree November 11-12 or November 18-26, 2023, from 9am to 4:15pm each day.
